В феврале в городской библиотеке прошёл цикл мероприятий для студентов Онежского индустриального техникума.

5, 6 и 7 февраля уроки мужества «Страницы блокадного Ленинграда» посетили три группы  учащихся. История знает немало примеров героической обороны крепостей и городов. Но эпопеей человеческого мужества, стойкости и самоотверженного патриотизма была оборона осажденного Ленинграда в годы Великой Отечественной войны. На встрече звучали проникновенные строки о войне,  блокадном хлебе – основной еде блокадников, «дороге жизни» через Ладожское озеро. До самых глубин затронуло ребят эмоциональное,  воспитательное выступление Евгении Михайловны Ромшиной по воспоминаниям своей мамы, пережившей страшные дни в блокадном городе.

12 февраля ребята посетили литературный огонёк «Я сам себя без Севера не мыслю»,  посвящённый творчеству онежского поэта Евгения Павловича Токарева. “Природа рождает поэта для того, чтобы выразить себя”, – сказал один умный человек. И он прав: нет в России уголка, не описанного своим, именно своим поэтом. Токарева природа произвела на белый свет для того, чтобы он описал Онегу, онежский край, остров Кий…”.

Все мероприятия сопровождались музыкой, электронными  презентациями и видеофрагментами.
